The new playfields on the north side of the school property have been an issue with some because of possible negative impacts they would have on neighboring residences. Recently it was decided to upgrade the fields to year round use. Janice King--an SSCNA member--has written a letter to LWSD and and the City of Kirkland addressing this. Janice wrote a second time when she felt that her concerns had not been properly addressed.
